Bid Solicitation Announcement
Bids are currently being solicited by the School Nutrition Program of Greene County Public Schools, for the period of August 1, 2022 through July 31, 2023, with an option to renew for three (3) successive years.
Separate bids will be accepted for:
- Main Grocery
- Bread Items
- Fresh Produce
- Fluid Milk and Dairy Products
Bids must be placed in a sealed envelope and clearly marked with Vendor Name, IFB or RFP, and opening date. They must be addressed to:

Bids must be received in the School Nutrition Program office by 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, June 15, 2022 at which time they will be opened and the bottom line read publicly. Bids will be evaluated and awards made and posted on or before Wednesday, June 29, 2022. All Bidders will be notified by mail.
In awarding the Invitation For Bid (IFB), the contract will be awarded to the responsible bidder whose bid is responsive to the invitation and is most advantageous to the School Nutrition Program, price and other factors considered. Any and all bids may be rejected in accordance with the law.
In awarding the Request For Proposal (RFP), a set of award criterion in the form of a weighted evaluation sheet will be provided to each bidder in the initial bid document materials. Price alone is not the sole basis for award, but remains the primary consideration when awarding the contract. Following evaluation, a firm fixed price or cost reimbursable contract is awarded.
