Hello!! My name is Kristen Shin, and I'll be at WMHS all year as the School Counseling Intern. I will be here every Wednesday, Thursday, & Friday! I grew up in Centreville, VA, right outside of Washington, D.C., but have called Charlottesville home since 2016, when I got to UVA. (Go Hoos!) I graduated from UVA in 2020 with my Bachelor's in Psychology, and am currently finishing my Master's in School Counseling, also at UVA!

My favorite thing I did this summer was getting married to my husband, Gavin. Outside of school, I enjoy painting, reading library books, playing with our dog, Eleanor, and taking walks around Charlottesville. I also like watching the Great British Bake-Off, listening to Taylor Swift, and drinking too much coffee. I love meeting with students and being an extra support for anyone who needs it. Looking forward to meeting more of you this year!
