    Dear NGPS Families,

Welcome to another school year!  My name is Mrs. Danielle Alicea, and I am honored and elated to be the principal at Nathanael Greene Primary School. I have a wide range of teaching experience in elementary education to bring to NGPS along with my passion and love for children.

Nathanael Greene Primary & Elementary Schools strive to focus on emphasizing positive behaviors in our students and our five school-wide behavior expectations:

    • Be Kind
    • Be Safe
    • Be Respectful
    • Be Responsible
    • Be Ready to Learn

We will continue to recognize students who exhibit positive behavior through the awarding of positive referrals.  Additionally, this year, students will be recognized as ‘Dragon of the Week’ for demonstrating positive behavior that goes above and beyond school expectations.  Each week a homeroom class will be recognized as ‘Class of the Week’ based on reading logs completed and class-wide positive behavior.

NGPS is committed to providing a safe and nurturing environment for all students to grow academically, socially and emotionally. I greatly value parent and community involvement in our schools. I encourage you to be involved in your child's education every day through their learning experiences and our many opportunities with the NG PTO. Together we can truly make a difference and be a champion for all children.

It is already evident and very easy to see that the Nathanael Greene community of students, parents, staff and administrators are a very special group of individuals. Teams are important to me and working together for the success of our children is imperative. I look forward to collaborating with you in continuing the success here at Nathanael Greene.

My door is always open to you. Please feel free to contact me anytime at 434-939-9002 or by email at dalicea@greenecountyschools.com

    Sincerely,

    Mrs. Danielle Alicea

    Principal, Nathanael Greene Primary
