    • All full-time employees of Greene County Public Schools are eligible for the following benefits:

      10/11-Month Employees (Teachers, Teacher Assistants, Secretaries, Bus Drivers, School Nutrition Staff)

      • Health Insurance (roughly 95% paid by employer)
      • Virginia Retirement through VRS
      • Life Insurance
      • Earn 1 day of sick leave per month
      • Personal Days - 2 per year with a maximum accumulation of 3

      12-Month Employees (Administrators, Secretaries, Custodians, Maintenance)

      All of the benefits listed above plus: 

      • Vacation - earned at a rate dependent upon years of membership with VRS
