• The Nurse Aide program is a two year sequence combining class work with clinical experience.  Students are accountable to the Virginia Board of Nursing Regulations.

Due to State Board of Nursing regulations, student behavior, attendance, ability to provide a social security number, and ability to read independently will determine eligibility for the State of Virginia CNA Exam. The primary instructor retains all rights to determine if students are allowed to take the C.N.A Exam. There are fees associated with the Nurse Aide I and II classes (club dues, uniform, and workbook). A TB Test must be obtained from your physician and negative results must be given to instructor by September 1st.

Community involvement with patients in various facilities is part of the course work in both Nurse Aide I & II. Therefore, preference will be given to students who meet behavioral and academic requirements. The primary instructor retains all rights to determine if students are allowed to participate in clinical experiences.
