It is my pleasure to Welcome you to William Monroe High School.  While I am starting my second year as the Principal at WMHS, Greene County Public Schools has been part of my life for quite some time.  I began Kindergarten at the Primary School in 1976 and graduated from William Monroe High School in 1989. Upon graduating from WMHS I enrolled at Bridgewater College and graduated with an Education Degree.  I would spend the next twelve years as a Physical Education Teacher and a Coach at both the Middle and High School levels before returning to William Monroe High School as the Activities Director.  Over the course of those twelve years I obtained a Masters Degree in Education and an Administrative Endorsement. Six years later I became an Assistant Principal at the High School and then the Principal at William Monroe Middle School.  After four wonderful years at the middle school, I have now returned to my alma mater and look forward to serving the students, parents, teachers and community of William Monroe High School.

As a long time Greene County resident, former Greene County Public School student, a parent of a former WMHS student and now the Principal at William Monroe High School I know the pride our community has in our schools, our teachers and our students.  While we have grown in size, we have not lost our small town identity and the sense of community that comes along with it.  We will continue to maintain a vision that will empower our students for life-long success by engaging them in an innovative learning environment where they can become productive members of our community.
The four years our students spend at William Monroe High School will be exciting, at times trying and in the end extremely rewarding. I look forward to celebrating our students many successes and watching them grow into tomorrows leaders.  Throughout the year, I encourage our students, parents, and community members to participate in the numerous high school activities offered.  Our school is always buzzing with games, concerts, plays, and other events.  If I can ever be of assistance please do not hesitate to contact me.  I look forward to another exciting year and appreciate your continued support of William Monroe High School.
    Go Dragons!
