Students and staff honored veterans in the Greene County community in observance of Veterans Day. 

Nathanael Greene Schools hosted a “reverse parade." School leaders invited veterans and their families to drive down the bus lane in front of Nathanael Greene Primary School for the event. 

Ruckersville Elementary School recognize community veterans through a virtual performance. Ms. Rachel Peters, the school’s music teacher, has been practicing patriotic songs with students and filmed each grade level performing a song they learned. The video was sent to veterans and their families. 

Members of the William Monroe High School band performed at American Legion Post 128’s annual Veteran’s Day ceremony.
