Greene County Schools Hires Dawn Gillette as Director of Student Services
(Stanardsville, VA) Greene County Schools is pleased to announce the hiring of Dawn Gillette as the new Director of Student Services. Ms. Gillette joins Greene County Schools after serving as the Head of School for Elk Hill Charlottesville School. Previously, she was the Assistant Head of School at Elk Hill and prior to that she was a special education teacher in Louisa County.
Through her work at Elk Hill, Ms. Gillette has learned more about the importance of individualized learning paths for students. Additionally, she has a strong background in family support services, making her the ideal candidate for this role in our school community.
