Public Safety Foundation of Greene County funds Security Lettering and Numbering for Greene County Public School Buildings

Stanardsville, VA, October 18, 2018

The Public Safety Foundation of Greene County provided the necessary funds to purchase the remaining reflective letters and numbers for Greene County Public Schools.  The reflective numbers and letters assist emergency services in the event of a crisis.  The exterior reflective numbers make it easier to identify classrooms from the outside and the reflective letters assist emergency services in identifying appropriate entrances and exits during a crisis.  The PSFGC funded this project of over $1600 in order to provide all GCPS buildings with similar reflective letters and numbers.  Their assistance is greatly appreciated.
