My name is Anne Page and I’m excited to start my 6th year at WMMS!  I live on a small farm in Albemarle with my dog, goats, chickens, and fish.  I received my undergraduate degree from UVa and my master’s from Liberty University.  After college, I spent four years at Kaplan Test Prep, helping students of all ages prepare for standardized exams.  While in graduate school, I owned a startup BBQ sauce business, which was a lot of fun (and a lot of work).  I then worked in Bath County as a school counselor for students in grades PK-12.  My goal is to partner with parents, educators, and students to facilitate the optimum development of WMMS students.   To that end, I encourage parents & guardians to reach out to me with any concerns, suggestions, or information that will aid in your child’s academic success.  

A few of my favorite things:   My dog Rover. Racquetball. My nieces & nephews. Gardening.

Mrs. Pittman

Hi! I’m Betsy Pittman, and I’m thrilled to be part of the WMMS team! I’m an alumnus of Appalachian State University and the UVA School of Education.  I spent several years as an active duty Army officer in Hawaii before switching careers into education.  While in education I have worked as a test prep manager, private tutor, teaching intern, and substitute teacher. I believe that each student is valuable--an entirely unique and worthy person, able to learn and succeed. My role is to join with students and their teams to help them develop skills and meet their goals. I’m here to empower healthy student social, emotional, academic, and career growth. Let’s work together to support your student; don’t hesitate to reach out to me!
